A Touch of Autumn

Despite the glorious sunshine first thing this morning there is a definite feel of autumn in the air. And during the dog walk other signs of the changing of the seasons were clearly visible such the wealth of spider webs

and the seed heads swinging in the slight breeze.

There was a bit of a haze on the horizon line which added to the seasonal atmosphere.

The amount of spider webs was overwhelming and it made me wonder how they all manage to get a bite to eat.

I love those early days of autumn, specially when the mists are followed by full sunshine that meant we could have our breakfast on the patio!
