Rumour has it that a final theme will be announced today for week 53 (is there such a thing?) of The Documented Life Project 2014. If so I might or might not do it but one thing is for certain: I can't fit another page into my planner. It's chocker block and even to get week 52 in, I had to use lots of washi tape to hold the planner together. So should I do the theme today I won't add it here. But I promised to share the full 5 x 8.5 Moleskine 2014 planner and here it is. It can stand by itself on it's side now but it can no longer be closed with the elastic band that came with it.
Here is a view showing part of the front and the sides. The multi coloured sides are all covered in different washi tapes.
Here it is in all it's glory and so far still immaculate. Buying this Michel Design Garden Diary was a bit of an extravagance (and that's an understatement). Really I shouldn't have but I did. The transport costs to get it here from the States were more than the diary costs but I know I will enjoy it every day for a year and calculating that out as about $1 a week makes it worthwhile to me. It's full of nostalgic garden images as well as quotations and I love it already. I will be tipping in my pages which are sized 7 x 9 for this planner. And I will probably take apart (as in unbind) the Dylusions art journal that is the recommended one for The Documented Life Project 2015 (my label for the posts about the project this coming year will be DLP15) and use those pages to make my art on that I will then add to the Garden Diary. Glad I have managed to make up my mind at last and before the project starts. Needless to say I won't be decorating the outside of my planner as I love how it looks just like this.
Finally here is a view of my desk which is probably as tidy as it's ever going to get. I spend yesterday sorting it all out to the detriment of my mood but it did have the desired effect of clearing space physically and mentally for 2015's creative adventures. Of course by that time the 2014 planner will be stored elsewhere (once I free up some space!) but not too far away as there is plenty of inspiration hidden in it's pages.

Ready, set, go!!!
Your diary is luscious!!!
Surely you don't mean a dollar a day? That planner is lovely, but $365?!?
Your 2014 one is great - so much good art packed in there.
Lovely Frieda - and I like your idea. If you see anything else like that planner let me know! I may be able to get it to you much cheaper my friend :)... Jewels
Two beautiful journals. I am looking forward to watching your 2015 one grow
Love the competed planner and I'm envious of the tidy desk. I'm off to remove the unused wrapping paper from mine. Really like the cleaner look of the blog too - much easier to concentrate on.
