Perhaps in Tuscany, or the South of France? Mais non! This is Hawick in the Scottish Borders where it turned out the Scottish summer this year was on a Thursday. This Thursday! I met up with a friend and we visited the Textiles and Photography in Harmony exhibition in the Borders Textile Towerhouse. It was small but perfectly formed. Hawick might not be as inspirational as Venice (from where Shirley had taken some of her inspiration) but it was looking pretty good in the sunshine.
