Purple Patch Triangle

After two years of travelling the Purple Patch Triangle has returned home. This was made for the Movement exhibition organized by the European Quilt Association (EQA) back in 2013. It debuted at the Festival of Quilts in that year and has since travelled to Denmark, Austria, Belgium, Switzerland, France, Latvia, The Netherlands, Sweden, Spain, Ireland, Hungary and Finland. Lucky little triange. Wish I could have followed in it's wake.

I couldn't show this here originally as we had to keep it under wraps before the show opened and it's return seemed a good reason to photograph it again and blog it today.
