Journal Quilt 2007 October

You must have been wondering what happened to delay the arrival of my October Journal Quilt on this blog but I wanted to save it till the actual week of Halloween. I'm not that mad on that event, as I think I mentioned on an earlier post but will grab any opportunity to play with skeletons and ghosts and those both feature in this journal quilt. I really like this one myself, hope you will too.! This Journal Quilt was made for the Contemporary Group of the British Quilters Guild.

It won't be long now either, before I can reveal my Journal Quilt 2007 for the Journal Quilt Project as the Houston Quilt Show will be opening this coming weekend and after that we can reveal our own JQs. Can't wait! I just wish that just for that part of the show I could press a magic button and be transported to the actual exhibit so I could see them all in person. Hopefully they will feature on the QuiltArt site before too long.
Too tired for more blogging as I'm still recovering from an 400 miles round trip to Elgin, which was further complicated by roadworks on the Forth Road Bridge. I think I'm maybe getting a bit too old for these mammoth journeys!

I love the journal Frieda, the colours look really good and I too like the ghosts and skeletons. I'm still making ATC's and loving every minute of it. Thank you for introducing me to them.
