For my final Alphastamps Christmas project I grabbed some items from my shelf which had been sitting there for quite some time. I'm not quite sure where I got them but I believe they came from Panduro Hobby. They are lightweight wooden heart shapes. I started by painting them white with acrylic paint and once dry, sprayed them with a variety of Moon Shadow Mist paints, on the front only. After another drying session I painted over that with glitter paint. Most of all that glitter is lost on the scan but I promise you, they really do sparkle!
More drying time was necessary before I painted the back and sides of the hearts with white which I let seep onto the front too, to frame it.
I then added images, all from Alphastamps Square Santas sheet, the 2" Border sticker sheet and from the Square Santa Ornament kit. On some of the Hearts I also used the Alphastamps Ho, ho, ho stamp (from the Set of Retro Santas) in black.

I finished the hearts with a layer of Polymer Medium (Gloss) from Golden which required another drying session (while I was making my jewellery yesterday!). The final touch was the sparkly white wired star which was slotted into the hole and wired around the back and bottom of the heart and the addition of hanging ribbons (available from Alphastamps too)
