The other ATC for Dana (on the MailArtWorld site) is now also finished and I stuck with the bird/nature theme that she likes so much. The background for this card was made by free machine embroidery on dissolvable film, which was stitched onto black felt and cut to ATC size. Onto this I stitched a bird paper image (from Alphastamps Cinderally & Birds sheet) which in its turn was covered by a bird transparency (from Alphastamps Parrots sheet). I added the text with my Dymo writer and the edges were finished by zigzag stitching with gold thread.

Flying Free ATC

This is fabulous Frida - I love the stitched outline of the bird 'shadow'.
