A Pansy Day

Once again we had a lovely sunny day here at Macbiehill although there was a cold wind blowing. I'm busily beavering away in my studio but took time out to walk the dogs and bake a cake.

Yes you read that right! I baked a cake and gave myself a huge pat on the back too! If you want a taste you will have to come to the Travelling On exhibition by the Thistle Quilters, English Speaking Union, 23 Atholl Crescent, Edinburgh tomorrow morning when I will be stewarding there. But don't get too excited about that cake! My quilts are a much better representation of whatever talents I might possess!

Having said that it was fun, specially licking out the mixing bowl afterwards.

Great pansy. Wish I could come and share your cake and look at your beautiful quilts in person. Have fun!
