Let it snow!

Since John has been reitred I'm enjoying snow much more. No worries whether he will make it into work or back home and someone to help with the snow shuffleling mean that I can just wander around and enjoy the whiteness.

It was snowing when we got up and after a little pause around midday has continued and thus far we have about 2.1/2" already. The world looks wonderfully white!

These pictures were all taken in our own garden and I'm still surprised to see the trees we planted as seedlings now towering far over our heads. It's become a proper little forest up there.

Love the photos! Winter photos are a favorite and the trees look beautiful.

I envy you to have lived in one place for so long, long enough to see forests grow from seedlings. That's a rare gift. The pictures are beautiful, like a faerie garden dressed all in white for the Snow Ball.

Beautiful! How magical to wander around and capture images on your camera! It must feel good to see seedlings turn into trees!
Today we had very dense fog in the morning..and now it is already almost 70 degrees F! We usually have mild winters, but this is unusual.
Have a great day!
Hugs,
Terri
p.s. your package will be out in the morning, I needed to add a few things to it before mailing : )

I love these photos, Frieda . . . the first one especially speaks to me. I can almost feel/touch/taste the snow! I have lots of memories of snow but doubt I will see it in person again, so thank you!!!

I do love capturing a beautiful fallen snow on the trees despite the cold. These are beautiful pics! We're expecting a bit of snow/sleet overnight and again I'll worry about hubby driving in it so I know how you feel.
