I've been having a lot of fun in the past week playing with my purples. Purple fabric (as the background although it's now no longer visible), purple yarn of all shapes and sizes, purple buggle and normal beads, again in a wide variety of sizes, and buttons. All this is in aid of a project for the Quilters' Guild but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to share the entire piece with you so I'm playing it safe and for the moment I'm only sharing a detail.
I was singing along with my American Anthem CD while making it which meant I was having a whale of a time! Or perhaps I should say I hit a Purple Patch!

I love it Frieda! But then I do love anything that is purple. Can't wait to see the whole piece.

This is just so beautiful, frieda . . . all the textures and beads and all that purple color. I had to laugh when you spoke about singing along to your "American Anthem" CD as you made this. I remember you telling me about that and the artists included : )) so fun!
gorgeous!!! The textures and rich hues of purple make for a stunning effect!
Incredible Frieda! What amazing textures and colors of fibers! Love it!
I am looking forward to seeing the entire piece.
