Take a Piece of Thread

As I told you yesterday today was the opening of the Take a Piece of Thread exhibition at the Tweeddale Gallery, High Street, Peebles which features work done by the Peebles branch of the Embroiderers' Guild, of which I am a member. I am exhibiting my quilt Thread Tangle and above you can see the quilt and its maker! Thanks to Rosemary for taking the photograph.
It's hanging beautifully against the back wall of the gallery with a spotlight directed at it so that you can see the details of the beading. It literally sparkles off the wall.
For those of you unable to visit in person, here is the quilt in more detail. You can read more about it here.
The exhibition will be on till Friday the 21st June. Opening hours are from 10.30-12.30 and 1 - 4 on Monday to Friday and 9.30 - 12.30 on Saturdays. There is disabled access to this gallery.

Beautiful guilt! Wish the photo could pick up the sparkle but even without that it's stunning, so much to see. I've been gone for awhile but it's always fun to catch up on new creations and new photos. Wonderful start to catching up.
