What with everything else going on I temporarily took my eye of the orchid buds so it was a real treat to see beautiful flowers out this morning. These are the kind of things that matter in life. It's breathtaking to see how those small buds unfurl to these lovely intricacies of the inside of the flower.
For added tranquillity in our lives we came home this morning, quite unexpectedly, with the statue of a Buddha, having gone to get some bird and dog food. He will be starting his new life in our courtyard and will hopefully remind me to calm down, take some deep breaths in and out and RELAX!

It looks so much like a little person with a big flowing skirt! What an unusual and beautiful orchid frieda . . . . how lovely to acquire a Buddha statue. I would think it would be very calming. Thank you for all your kind comments on my affirmation journal <3
