Week 25 on The Documented Life Project instructed us to: Cover your flap in hearts. I took that very literally as you can see and used a heart punch to cut hearts from a variety of gelli plate printed left-overs. The background came from a wallpaper sample book. I was lucky enough to acquire 5 magnificent ones last Saturday and although they provided a bit of a storage problem that has never stopped me getting more "stuff" (that's what John calls it, to me they are treasure!).
I outlined all hearts with a Stabilo All pencil which is water soluble and then went over the edges with a water brush. Next I used a variety of other markers to further outline the hearts and decorate them.
Finally I added lettering using rubber stamps and Staz-On inkpad to add the text that had come into my head while making the page: Have a Heart.

this is fantastic -I love how those hearts just pop off the deep rich background paper! Lucky you to have acquired the wallpaper:)
